W. H. Anderson Rites Held Thurs.
Reasnor, Ia. (Special to The Daily News) – Following a short service at the home in Reasnor, final rites were held Thursday for W. H. Anderson, at 1 o’clock in the Camp Center church near Ivy with the Rev. Earl Warren, pastor of the Ivy church of Christ in charge. Interment was in the Vandalia cemetery.
Music during the services, furnished by Mrs. Glen Reynolds, Mrs. Lucia Snediker, Howard McCauley and the Rev. Earl Warren, included the songs, “Near My God to Thee,” “What a Friend We Have in Jesus,” and “Asleep in Jesus.”
Mrs. Clifford Woody and Mrs. Frank Carpenter were in charge of the flowers. Pallbearers were Wesley Haag, Frank Spain, Bert Wasson, Roy Warren, Roy Proudfit, and Robert Snediker.
Immediate surviving relatives are his wife; the former Nota Hicks, and six children: Emery Anderson of Newton, Glen Anderson of Reasnor, Mrs. Florence Gray of Newton, Mrs. Mildred Ray of near Newton and Dorothy and Darlene, twin daughters who live at home.
Other relatives surviving are three brothers and one sister of Des Moines and two grandchildren.
