Died – After a lingering illness of about three months, Miss Dona M. Means died at her home in Runnells, Thursday evening, May 7, at 6:30 o’clock. The remains were laid to rest in the Vandalia cemetery, Saturday.
This leaves the home desolate and sad indeed, as just four weeks ago last Thursday, Mr. Means passed from this life to a home where sickness and death never come. We do not know now, but we shall know hereafter, just why these troubles come. “Some sweet day” when we step within heaven’s portals, we shall know and understand, and say, “God doeth all things well.”
