On Feb. 23, an angel was sent to bless the home of Mr. and Mrs. Foster Farrar but was too frail and delicate to be left on this earth, so the blessed Saviour recalled her on Feb. 24, leaving the parents broken hearted over their loss, but comforted in the belief that she was safe in the arms of Jesus and with the faith they would some time join their darling little Marlene Louise in that home beyond the sky. The little body was laid to rest in the Vandalia cemetery Sunday afternoon, after a short service conducted by J. C. Miller.
