John G. Lammers
August 29, 1960 ~ October 15, 2021 (age 61)

A Celebration of Life for John will be held at a later date.

John Gerard Lammers the son of Gilbert J. and Juliana “Judy” L. Witte Lammers was born on August 29, 1960 in Grinnell, Iowa. He graduated from Newton High School in 1978.

John and his lifetime partner, Vicki were blessed with a daughter, Morgan Julianna. He worked in the Maintenance Department for Midland Manufacturing in Monroe, Iowa until 2006. John became the Plant Manager for Shoe-Me Container in North Las Vegas, Nevada from 2006-2008. He then returned to Midland Manufacturing in 2008.

John enjoyed playing Texas Holdem poker and Blackjack. He also liked NASCAR and the NFL.

John died on Friday, October 15, 2021, at his home in Newton. He was 61. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to honor John’s memory are his lifetime partner, Vicki Andersen of Newton; daughter, Morgan Julianna Lammers of Newton; stepchildren, Nicole, Kasey, Shelby, RaiAnn, Krisandra and Andrew; his stepgrandchildren, Billy, TyLynn, Tiegan and Avery; and his brother, Eugene Lammers of Newton.
