Florence M. Routson, 93, of Du Quoin, Ill., formerly of Des Moines, died Monday at a Du Quoin hospital of a heart ailment. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel with burial at the Vandalia Cemetery in Vandalia.
Survivors include four daughters, Grace Archer of Mingo, Ethel McCaslin of Eunice, N.M., and Sylvia Theisen and Audrey Cook both of Du Quoin; a brother, George B. Houck of Mattowa, Wash.; 25 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren, and three great-great-great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the chapel.
