Stella Wade, 89, of Colfax died of heart failure, Wednesday, August 7, at Baxter Health Care Center in Baxter.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 12 at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax with Chaplain Merle Smith of Skiff Medical Center officiating. Burial will be at McKeever Cemetery in Colfax.
The daughter of William and Mary (Reynolds) Wagner, she was born March 21, 1913, in Vandalia. She was a homemaker and married Harold Poulson. He died in 1958 and she later married Mack Wade on March 5, 1966, in Colfax. She lived in Cedar Falls for 12 years and returned to Colfax in 1960. Mrs. Wade enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, six brothers and five sisters.
