Mrs. W. H. McKeever Passed Tues. Night
Had Been Resident of Oswalt For Past 68 years
Mrs. Rosalie Minerva Oswalt McKeever passed away at her home in the Oswalt community Tuesday evening. She has been in failing health for some time.
She was 68 years old in March and had lived her entire lifetime in Oswalt.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Richard Dooley, who resides at home, and two sons, Nate McKeever of Oswalt and Milt McKeever of San Diego, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the residence, with Rev. L. C.
McDonald officiating. Interment will be at McKeever cemetery.

Rosilly M. McKeever, daughter of pioneers of Jasper county, B. P. and Minerva Oswalt, was born near Clyde, Iowa, March 11, 1866, and passed away at her home near Colfax, June 5, 1934.
She was united in marriage to William M. McKeever, Sept. 6, 1886. To this union two children were born, J. N. McKeever and Miss Ellen Dooley, and one step-son, M. W. McKeever of Mitchellville. Other surviving relatives are five grandchildren, Robert Dooley, Mrs. Dorothy Donaldson, William Theodore and Norma McKeever; one sister and four brothers, Mrs. John Harris of Sunny Side, Wash., M. Y. Oswalt of Almetz, Ia.; J. H. Oswalt of Des Moines, M. E. and J. A. Oswalt of Colfax, many nephews and nieces and a host of neighbors and friends.
Mrs. McKeever was a fine wife and loved her home, one of her characteristics being her affectionate concern for all her loved ones and friends.
Funeral services were conducted from the home Friday afternoon with Rev. L. C. McDonald officiating.
Music was furnished by Mrs. Cleo Wall and Mrs. Earl Plummer, with Mrs. L. C. McDonald accompanist.
Interment was at the McKeever cemetery.
