Mary A. Ellsworth Services Held Dec. 12
Services for Mary A. Ellsworth, 66, of Altoona, a former Baxter resident, who died Monday, Dec. 9, at Des Moines General Hospital in Des Moines, were held Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Boyd-Davis Funeral Home in Baxter. Burial was in Restland Cemetery in Baxter. The Rev. Darrell Bailey officiated.
She was born Sept. 22, 1925 in Silver City, N.M. to Milo and Emma Pleshk Tipton. She graduated from Baxter High School.
She was employed by the Vernon Co. in Newton. She had lived in Des Moines and Altoona.
She was a member of the Congregational U.C.C.
Survivors include a brother, John Dale Tipton, Baxter, and a sister, Betty Jean Bodley, Waukon.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be directed to the Congregational U.C.C. in Baxter.
