Funeral services for Mary Lee Phillips Rusk, 66, of Rt. 1, Box 18, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the First Christian Church.
The Rev. Raymond Barnett, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Reese Funeral Home after noon Friday. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials to a 4-H organization will be accepted.
She died Tuesday enroute to the Skiff Medical Center.
Survivors are her husband, Forrest; a son, Steven of Minneapolis, Minn.; three daughters, Linda (Mrs. Michael) Di Giacomo, of Oakland, Calif., Deborah (Mrs. Kevin) Cox of Kensington, Calif., and Cheryl (Mrs. Lyle) Wedemeyer of Minneapolis, Minn.; three grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Phillips of Manhattan, Kan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles.
Mrs. Rusk, an account executive for KCOB-KLVN since 1975, and a sales manager for a number of years, had been a World Book representative for a number of years.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Rotary International, Salvation Army Board, Chapter ME-PEO, was a 4-H leader for many years, has served on the county committee and was a state officer for many years.
The daughter of Claude and Lorena Ravlin Phillips, she was born Jan. 27, 1925 in Conrad, was graduated from Barnes City High School and attended Iowa State University in Ames for two years.
She was married to Forrest Rusk Feb. 20, 1949 in Barnes City.
Mrs. Rusk moved to Newton from Des Moines in 1949.
