Resident’s Brother Died
Stephen Ray Wilson, 46, a resident of Des Moines for 23 years and former resident of Prairie City, died Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Thursday Dec. 12 at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City. Burial was in Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.
Survivors are a son, Randall of Madrid; three daughters, Jessica Bailey, Sharni Wilson and Victoria Wilson, all of Madrid; three grandchildren; his parents, Ray and Helen Duckstein Wilson; two brothers, Doug of Colfax and Mark of Prairie City; and a special friend, Loy Dee Lundy.
Mr. Wilson was employed at the American National Can Corp. in Des Moines.
Mr. Wilson was born April 23, 1945 in Prairie City and was a 1965 graduate of Prairie City Community High School.
