Darlie M. Weston Dies in Illinois; Services Monday
Baxter – Mrs. Charles S. (Darlie Mae) Weston, 85, a longtime resident of Jasper county, died Friday at Bushnell, Ill.
Mrs. Weston, a resident of Baxter since 1930, moved to the Golden Age home at Bushnell a month ago.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Boyd-Nickell funeral home at Baxter.
Burial will be in Union Chapel cemetery near Ira.
Mrs. Weston is survived by a son, Dr. C. L. Weston of Macomb, Ill., two grandsons, Don Weston of Washington, D.C., and Tom Weston, a member of the Army; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, George Rumbaugh of Collins and Jay Rumbaugh of Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1961, two brothers and two sisters.
The daughter of Lou and Louise Rumbaugh, he was born August 16, 1875 near Mingo.
She was married to Charles S. Weston in 1895.
Mrs. Weston resided in the Ira, Mingo and Newton areas before moving to Baxter in 1930.
