Mrs. Alice Stouffer Died At Des Moines
Mrs. Alice Stouffer, 97, of 13212 Thirty-third street, died Monday at her home after a three month illness. A native of Jasper County, she lived in the Colfax area most of her life, moving to Des Moines 12 years ago.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Dunn Funeral Home at Des Moines. Graveside services were at 2:30 p.m. at Union Chapel Cemetery north of Colfax.
Mrs. Stouffer was a member of the Colfax Christian church.
Surviving are her daughter, Helen E. Stouffer of Des Moines; two sons Lawrence W. of Galesburg, Ill., and Gerald A. of Des Moines, five grandchildren and a great-grandson.
