Chas. Plumb passed on at his home at Marshalltown Wednesday after a long illness, cancer of the stomach. He leaves his wife, Rose Hefner Plumb, several children, grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Ike Hoy of Rhodes, Mrs. Abbey Shipley, Northwood, five brothers, Joshua, Shelby and Edward of South Dakota, George and Wm. of this vicinity. The funeral was held at Union Chapel Friday at 2 p.m. and interment in Union Chapel cemetery.
