Mrs. Sarah Gearhart died at her home east of Ira, at the age of 74 years, on Friday of last week after a long illness with la grippe. It is remembered that her husband died last winter. Seven of the nine children born to her are still living, and all were with her in her last illness.
The funeral was from the M.E. church in Ira last Sunday, attended by a great concourse of old friends and neighbors and the interment was at the Union Chapel.
