William Iske Dies Yesterday at Ira
Funeral Services to Be Held at 2 o’clock Thursday Afternoon.
William F. Iske, lifelong resident of this vicinity, died at his home one and one-half miles south east of Ira, yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock, death resulting suddenly from heart disease.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Iske home and burial will be in the Newton Union cemetery.
Mr. Iske was 65 years of age at the time of his death, having been born on May 18, 1865 in Scott county, Iowa. For the past 44 years he has made his home at Ira where his death occurred.
He is survived by his widow, four children, Mrs. Earl Wheatcraft of near Colfax, Mrs. Harry Selbher of Newton, Mrs. Maggie Emmack and Raymond at home, by one brother, A. C. Iske of Ira and by one sister, Mrs. Nettie Miller of Newton.
