Daniel P. Lammey Rites Scheduled Monday Morning
Newton – Memorial services for Daniel P. Lammey, 22, of 1111 N. 11th Ave. E., a lifelong resident of Jasper County, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home.
The Rev. Stan Wierson, associate pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.
He died Tuesday evening in a fire at his apartment.
Survivors are his wife, Pam; a son, Paul Daniel of Newton; a daughter, Lisa Kay Lammey of Newton; his mother, Mrs. Walter (Ann) McCumber of Ira; and his grandparents, Leslie Doak of Newton and Jayda McCumber of Ira.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul, his grandfather, Harry Lammey and his grandmother, Mrs. Leslie (Hazel) Doak.
Mr. Lammey, an employee of Don’s Honda, was a member of the Newton Kart Klub.
The son of Paul and Ann Doak Lammey, he was born Aug. 21, 1959 in Newton and attended Newton and Mingo schools.
He was married to Pam Anderson Aug. 11, 1977 in Colfax.
