Mrs. Flora Gift, Former Resident Of Mingo, Dies
Mingo – Mrs. Flora Baker Gift, 80, a former Mingo resident, died early Saturday morning at the home of her son, Everett Baker, in Rock Rapids. Funeral services will be held from the Mingo Methodist church at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
The former Flora Stansbury of Fairfield, she was married to Frank Baker of Mingo. They lived in this community for about 35 years.
Surviving are the son, Everett Baker; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Maude, in 1918.
The body will be returned to Mingo from Rock Rapids for the funeral Monday.

Flora V. Gift Rites Conducted at Mingo
Mingo – Funeral services for Flora V. Gift, of Rock Rapids, former Mingo resident, were held Monday at the Mingo Methodist church.
The Rev. Max Hall, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Burial was in Greencastle cemetery in Mingo.
Mrs. Dale Harter, the organist, accompanied a quartet, Otha Hulse, Eldon Geisler, Mrs. Lou Neal and Mrs. Howard Southern.
Pallbearers were Glen Baker, Harry Baker, Chauncey Akins, Harold Frey, Clifford Baker and Morris Frey.
