Rites for Borts Infant Arranged
Funeral services for James Hamilton Borts Jr., infant son of James and Beulah Borts of 738 West Fourth street North, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson-Murdoch Funeral Home.
The Rev. Benson Compton, pastor of the Assembly of God church, will officiate at the services and burial will be in Greencastle cemetery north of Colfax.
The child died at 6:15 p.m. yesterday at the Skiff Memorial hospital. The infant was born Dec. 29.
Survivors, in addition to the parents, include the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Borts of Colfax; the maternal grandparents, Mrs. Ladema Chapman of Newton, and Harold Chapman of Milan, Mo., and the great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Buckallew of Milan and Mrs. John Chapman, also of Milan.

Funeral services were held Wednesday of this week in Newton at the Johnson-Murdock Funeral Home for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. James Borts of that city. The child died at the Skiff Hospital Monday. The paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Pete Borts of Colfax.
