Pampa (Special) - Floyd Elwood Knight, 66, of Groom, died Wednesday morning in Groom Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 P.M. Friday in the First Methodist Church of Groom. The Rev M. W. Reynolds, pastor, the Rev. James Coffman, pastor of the Groom Baptist Church, and the Rev. C. R. Hankins, pastor of the Dozier Methodist Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Groom Cemetery under the direction of Duenkel-Carmichael Funeral Home.

Mr. Knight, who farmed 9 miles northeast of Groom, was born in Jasper County, Iowa, and came to Gray County in 1930.

The body will lie in state at the First Methodist Church from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha; a sister, Mrs. Norma Owens of Lodi, Wis., and brothers, Cornell and F. R. of Groom.
