SEDALIA, Mo. — Harriet Marie Shockey, 83, of Sedalia, Mo., formerly of Newton, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, in Sedalia, Mo.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Ewing Funeral Home in Sedalia, Mo.

The daughter of Harry and Lillie Elmore, she was born Feb. 21, 1922, in Algona. She was a resident of Newton from 1950 to 1953.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Sara Shockey of Newton; two daughters, Judy Van Sant and Jerilee Shockey of Sedalia, Mo.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Duane Elmore; and a sister, Evelyn Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Helen Anderson and Barb Kerr; and two brothers, Melvin Elmore and Delbert Elmore.
