Genevieve King Aller, 76, of 701 S. 12th Ave. W., a resident of Newton since 1988, died Monday evening, Dec.4, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Grave side rites will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at McLaren-Resthaven Cemetery in Des Moines. The Rev. Barclay will conduct services.

Survivors are a daughter, Patricia Spellman, of Newton; a son, Robert Aller, Lakeland, Colo.; a sister, Ruth Olmstead of Omaha, Neb.; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Mrs. Allen, who retired from the Internal Revenue Service in Des Moines after 28 years of service, was a long time member of St John's Lutheran Church in Des Moines, and International Toastmistress Club, for which she held regional offices for the Heartland Region.

Mrs. Allen helped organize the Des Moines North High School Alumni Association and Metro Women's Network.

The daughter of James Edgar and Mary Brown King, she was born Aug. 10, 1913 in Salt Lake City, Utah, as a 1931 graduate of Des Moines North High School and attended the American Institute of Business in Des Moines.

Mrs. Aller had resided in Des Moines for 72 years prior to coming to Newton.
