Kellogg - Robert W. Hammer, 50, of 3585 Atlas St., San Diego, Calif., a former resident of Kellogg, died Monday afternoon at the Balboa Naval Hospital.

Funeral services, which are pendng, will be held in San Diego.

Survivors are his wife, the former Kay Marlene Van Roekel; three sons, Robert, Richard and Ronald, all of San Diego; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hammer of kellogg; and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Colleen) Haft of Newton.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter in 1958.

Mr. Hammer, a retired Navy career man, had been working for the Border Patrol in San Diego.
