Johanna Kingma Annee, 76, of 108 E. 19th St. S., a resident of Newton for 33 years, died of a heart attack Wednesday morning, Feb. 22, at the Skiff Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.

The Rev. Paul Sandgren, pastor of the First Assembly of God, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 8 p.m. Friday. Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors are her husband, Albertus; three sons, Johannes, John, and Albertus Jr., all of Newton; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rika De Greef and Bertha Vande Weerd, both of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, John, Adam, Egbert, and Albertus Kingma, and a sister, Tina Geerlings.

Mrs. Annee was a homemaker.

The daughter of John and Elizabeth Pot Kingma, she was born May 17, 1912 in The Netherlands and was graduated from a high school in The Netherlands.

She was married to Albertus Annee June 16, 1934 in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands.
