PONTE VEDRA, Fla.—Margaret Armbruster, 65, of No. 140 The Fountains, 695 A1A North, Ponte Vedra, Fla., a former resident of Newton died of cancer Friday, March 10.

Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society will be accepted.

Mrs. Armbruster was a resident of Newton for approximately 14 years during which time she was a member of the Red Cross Gray Ladies and the Newton Book Club.

She is survived by her husband, David, a retired Maytag Co. branch office manager; a son, David, of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., and a daughter Ann Lambert of Neptune Beach, Fla.

Also surviving are three grandchildren and two sisters, Eloise Claiborne of Atlantic Beach, Fla., and Miriam Reeve of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.

Mrs. Armbruster, a former receptionist at the Maytag Co., was a native of Lehigh and was a graduate of Drake University in Des Moines.

She retired two years ago as a teacher of physically handicapped children.
