Lorraine Gayle Moore, 59, of Newton died Thursday, May 12, 2005, in Newton.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at McKeever Cemetery in Colfax with the Lt. Ron Cook of The Salvation Army officiating. Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements.

No visitation is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name.

The daughter of Kenneth Leroy Martin and Melva Gail Masters, she was born June 10, 1945, in Newton. She graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1963. She worked for Progress Industries and Peck Child Care Center and enjoyed crafts and cats.

Survivors include her mother, Melva White of Newton; a sister, Kathy Savini of Newton; a half-sister, Anita Koester of Newton; and six brothers, Raymond Martin and Tom White, both of Newton, and John White Jr. of North English, Mike White of Menasha, Wis., Jeff White of Atlanta, Ga., and Jason Martin.

She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Bille White; step-father, John White Sr.; and her step-mother, Mabel Martin.
