KELLOGG – Mabel Irene Sigman Bogue, 78, of Box 613, Kellogg, died of an apparent heart attack Thursday, Jan. 12, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton. Burial will be in the Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors are three sons, James “Jim” Bogue and Jerry Bogue, both of Kellogg, and Dee Bogue Jr. of San Roman, Calif.; five daughters, Betty (Mrs. William) Bush and Irene (Mrs. Fred) McCumber Sr., both of Newton, Delores (Mrs. Clyde) Stalzer of Duarte, Calif., Shirley (Mrs. Lynn) Partin of Kellogg and Judy (Mrs. Larry) Newby of Goddard, Kan.; 21 grandchildren; and a sister, Lillian Kimmel of Marshalltown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dee, on July 31, 1984, a grandson, two brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Bogue was a homemaker.

The daughter of James and Viola Stodgill Sigman, she was born Sept. 23, 1910 in Booneville, Mo.

She was married to Dee S. Bogue Nov. 23, 1925 in Toledo.

Mrs. Bogue moved to Kellogg in the 1950s.
