ANDOVER, N.J. -- Linda K. (White) Hines, 63, of Andover, N.J., formerly of Newton, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at the Subacate Care Center in Andover.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 11, in Netcong, N.J. Burial was in Standhope, N.J.

The daughter of Kenneth and Ruby (Klopping) White, she was born May 28, 1941, in Newton. She graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1959. She moved to Arizona and then to New York. On Nov. 13, 1970, she married John Hines and moved to New Jersey. She lived there for 31 years. She was a child care provider.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Kristopher of Whitsett, N.C.; a daughter, Stacy of Hackettstown, N.J.; and two sister, Rita Skinner of Newton and Nancy White of Davenport; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Paul K. White and a sister, Mary Jane Underbokke.
