Beulah M. Hainzle, 99, of Newton died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at Nelson Manor Nursing Home in Newton.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Wittemberg Cemetery in rural Newton with the Rev. Merl Smith, chaplain of Skiff Medical Center in Newton, officiating.

No visitation is planned. Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements.

The daughter of Charles and Rowena (Hatch) Chollett, she was born Nov. 8, 1905, in Newton. She graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1924. She worked as a bank teller in California and also worked at Jasper County Savings Bank prior to moving to California. In January 1952, she married Edward J. Hainzle in California. She was a resident of Newton and Los Angeles, Calif.

Survivors include a niece and her husband, Susan and Roy Robison of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and a brother.
