JACKSON, Ohio -- Valarie Jo (Wilson) Terry, 40, of Jackson, Ohio, formerly of Grinnell, died Saturday, Feb. 7, in Jackson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in rural Jasper County.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where the family will be available from 6 to 8 p.m.

The daughter of Clair A. Wilson and Marsha J. Crain, she was born Oct. 21, 1963, in Newton. She graduated from Grinnell High School in 1982. On Nov. 12, 1999, she married Robert Terry in Texas and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; her father and stepmother, Clair and Dawn Wilson of Newton; a brother and sister-in-law, Trenton and Shelley Wilson of Whealock, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Jana Lee and Randy Cooper of Beaverton, Ore.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and paternal grandfather.
