PRAIRIE CITY -- Virginia A. Clark, 76, of Prairie City died Saturday, Jan. 3, at USA Healthcare in Newton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Prairie City Christian Church with the Rev. Robert Price officiating. Burial will be at Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City where the family will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials will be accepted to the Virginia A. Clark Memorial Fund.

The daughter of George and Leona (Bigney) Naisbitt, she was born July 14, 1927, in Colfax. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1945 and was a member of the Prairie City Christian Church, as well as the Excelsior Rebekah Lodge No. 470 and V.C.-- 8 Club. On June 11, 1948, she married Kenneth Dale Clark in Newton.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Doug and Suzi Clark of Waverly; a daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Jeff Jones of Prairie City; three granddaughters; and a brother, Bob Naisbitt of Colfax.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, William.
