MONROE - Grace Rinemuth, 92, of Monroe died Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Monroe United Methodist Church with Pastor Harold Koughn officiating. Burial will be at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe. Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe is handling arrangements.

Friends may call today after 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials will be accepted to the Monroe United Methodist Church.

The daughter of John and Mary Jane "Jenny”(Bowman) Wilson, she was born Feb. 22, 1910, in Jasper County. She was a 1928 graduate of Monroe High School. On Sept. 2, 1939, she married William Ralph Rinemuth in Bethany, Mo. She was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church and the Monroe Women's Club.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sally and Jim Morris of Monroe and Sue and Dan Kalousek of Smithville, Mo. and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services for Grace Rinemuth, 92, of Monroe were held January 11 at the Monroe United Methodist Church in Monroe, the Pastor Harold Koughn officiated. Music was provided by organist Mary Jo Van Roekel and vocalist Wanda North.

Interment was at the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe. Casket bearers were Joe St. Peter, Robert Schnug, Dr. D.C. Hormann, Doug Klein, Randy Stock and Duane Jess.

Grace Rinemuth died Wednesday, January 8, 2003, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

She was born on February 22, 1910 in Jasper County, the daughter of John and Mary Jane "Jenny" (Bowman) Wilson. Grace graduated from Monroe High School in 1928.

On September 2, 1939, she was united in marriage to William Ralph Rinemuth in Bethany, Missouri.

A lifelong resident of Monroe, Grace was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church and also Monroe Women's Club.

Grace enjoyed playing cards, baking and sewing.

She is survived by two daughters: Sally Morris and her husband, Jim of Monroe, and Sue Kalousek and her husband, Dan of Smithville, Missouri, and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1981, two brothers, a sister, and a niece.

Arrangements were handled by Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe.

Memorials may be made to the Monroe United Methodist Church.
