CROSSLAKE, Minn. -- Anna Mary Pentico, 91, of Crosslake, Minn., formerly of Jasper County, died Friday, Dec. 12, at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minn.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Crosslake Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Fred Cressman officiating. Brenny Funeral Chapel of Crosslake is handling arrangements.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

The daughter of Frank and Adella Grace (Robbins) Hybl, she was born May 23, 1912, in Colfax. She grew up in Colfax and graduated from high school in 1931. In 1933, she married Lee L. Pentico in Colfax. Together they lived in Prairie City until they moved to Newton to raise their son. She worked for Spurgeon's Department Store until she retired in 1974. Following her retirement, she moved to Crosslake. She enjoyed bowling and enjoyed watching her son participate in sports. She was a Chicago Cubs fan until she moved to Crosslake and adopted the Minnesota Twins.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert "Bob" and Nancy Pentico of Johnston; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Vicki Hammer; and a brother, John Hybl.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters; and three brothers.
