Dorothy L. Klepinger, 94, of 1133 S. 52nd Ave. E. died Sunday, Nov. 2, at her home in Newton,
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Chariton Cemetery in Chariton.

Friends may €all at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. Family will greet friends immediately following the service. Memorials will be accepted to Hospice of Jasper County or to the Jasper County Animal Rescue League and may be left at the funeral home.

The daughter of Corwin W. and Patsy (Reeves) Stuart, she was born Nov. 16, 1908, in Chariton. She was a 1926 graduate of Chariton High School. On May 22, 1938, she married Joyce W. "J.W." Klepinger in Chariton. She was a homemaker and a legal secretary for the Stuart and Stuart Law Firm in Chariton.

Mrs. Klepinger was on the founding board for Project Awake; was charter member of the Newton Garden Club and a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; three sons and a daughter-in-Iaw, Adrian R. Klepinger of Bedford, David S. Klepinger and Nick and Linda Klepinger of Reasnor; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
