Scott Eugene Kendall, 34, of Albia, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Services will be held on Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Albia with Chaplain Merle Smith of Skiff Medical Center in Newton officiating. The body has been cremated. Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be made in his name and may be sent to the funeral home, 1115 E. 19th St. N., Newton, 50208-2539.

The son of Barbara (White Kendall) Snook and Jimmie Kendall, he was born Feb. 4, 1969 in Knoxville. He attended Monroe High School and worked as a welder for many years. He moved to Albia five years ago after living in Newton.

Survivors include is mother and step-father, Larry Snook of Mountain View, Mo.; a son, Treaver Brown, of Mingo; a step-son, Michael Kelso, of Albia; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Sally Kendall of Albia and Jerry and Dawn Kendall of Newton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Venita and Chuck Williams of Albia; a sister, Heather Campbell of Willow Springs, Mo.; and his fiance, Danielle Kelso of Albia.

He was preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents and his son, Thane Ross Kendall-Kelso.
