Johanna Eysink, 101, of Sully died Sunday, Dec. 21, in Pella.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Pella. Friends may call after noon on Tuesday at the funeral home where family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Burial will be at Dairy Grove Cemetery in rural Sully. Memorials will be accepted to Billy Graham Ministries or to The Gideons.

The daughter of John J. and Klazena (Kruseman) De Jong, she was born March 7, 1902, south of Pella. She was united in marriage to John Eysink on Oct. 15, 1924, in Sully. The couple farmed near Sully their entire married lives. He died in 1968. She was a member of Those That Gather In The Name of the Lord in Sully and was also an active member of the neighborhood U &I Club. She enjoyed reading the Bible, tatting, crocheting and baking her own bread.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ernest and Joan Eysink of Sully; a son-in-law, Raymond Terlouw of Pella; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two step-great grandchildren, and a cousin, Johanna Van Hemert.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Norma R. Terlouw; and a grandson-in-law, Keith Frye.
