Monroe News – Rev. Guy Hamilton was in charge of the graveside rites held for Carl E. Peterson, 67, who passed away on November 12, at his home in Portland, Oregon. He is survived by his wife the former Grace McDaniel of Monroe and two children, Ralph N. of Wichita Falls, Texas and Kyle R. of Kahoka, Mo. Four children preceded him in death.
Burial was in the Monroe Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roy Vander Wal, Carl Crane, James Wolcott, M. C. Cramer, Ralph Gloyd and S. L. Martin.
