Three of the children, John Kommer of Grand Rapids, Mich., Martha and Adrian and the husband preceded her in death.
Fourteen grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren are left to mourn, with four sons and two daughters, the loss of a dear mother and grandmother.
Her hands were never idle and she loved to do things for others. Since the death of her husband fifteen years ago she made her home with the three children who live around here, Leen, Pete and Jennie. Both she and her husband passed away in the morning of Dec. 8, fifteen years apart.
Funeral services were held at the Crumpacker Funeral Home at Monroe, the Reverend A. Haverkamp of Pella officiating. Pallbearers were six grandsons. Vocal solos were sung by Mrs. Marie Jarnigan Shaw accompanied by Mrs. Marie McDonald Van Houwelingen.
