Knoxville News – Mrs. Henry De Hoet, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Hagan, passed away May 1, 1930, at Sunny Slope Sanitarium, Ottumwa, Iowa, at the age of 23 years, 3 months and 16 days. She had been in failing health for almost a year.
At one time she was employed by Korn & Sybenga bakery.
She was the mother of one daughter, Jean Lavonn, who preceded her in death March 8, 1929, at the age of 5 months and 23 days. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, father, mother, two brothers, Roy and Floyd, and one nephew, Junior, and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church at Monroe. The body was laid to rest in the Monroe cemetery.
