Jake Van Baale, Jr. Died Memorial Day
Jake Van Baale, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Van Baale of Fairmount, died at his home east of Monroe, Wednesday morning, May 30th, after a serious intestinal illness of about ten days.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Baptist church, Monroe, with Rev. Carlson in charge of the services. Mr. and Mrs. Van Baale have lived on the Jas. Stine farm east of Monroe since the first of March.
The deceased leaves to mourn his departure, a wife and one daughter, Eva Jeannette, his parents, two sisters, Gertie and Lena at home and a brother, Veeg. – Monroe Mirror
