He was always ready to testify of his faith in Christ, constantly stressing our conditions as lost sinners in ourselves; our utter need of Christ as Saviour; and our humble gratitude for God’s matchless grace. His wish of a quiet departure in faith was granted him.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 12:00 o’clock at the home and at 1:00 o’clock at the local Christian Reformed church, the pastor, Rev. D. H. Walters in charge. The church male quartet sang “Sometime, Somewhere,” and “Lead kindly Light.”
