Gardner Funeral Services Saturday
Cambridge – Funeral services for Robert A. Gardner, 84, who died here Wednesday at the home of his son, Earl Gardner, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Methodist church. Burial will be in the Graham cemetery near Mingo
Mr. Gardner was born in Wisconsin May 1, 1856 and came with his family to Maxwell, Ia., when 11 years old. He had resided in the Napier neighborhood until two years ago when he came here to make his home with his son.
Death was attributed to uremic poisoning. Mr. Gardner had been ill about three weeks.
Surviving besides the son, are a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Bates of Ames and a son, Glen Gardner of Pine River, Minn., 11 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Paul Jarvill of Laurens.
