Wilma F. Pilling, 85, of Crestview Care Center, West Branch, died Thursday, April 27, 1995, at the center.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, Newton, with burial in Newton Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Barnett will officiate.
Visitation begins at 8 p.m. today at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home, Newton. The family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the aviary project at Crestview Care Center.
Ms. Pilling was born Feb. 3, 1910, in Newton to Will and Jessie (Atwater) Fish. She graduated from Searsboro High School and attended William Penn College, Oskaloosa, for one year.
She worked in the housekeeping department at Skiff Hospital in Newton. She was a member of First Christian Church. She was a longtime resident of Newton before moving to West Branch.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Davis of Oakland, Calif., and Jeanette Carter of Iowa City; three sisters, Alice Tayman of Baltimore, Margaret Haskins of Richmond, Va., and Lois Drake of Brooklyn; and one brother, James Fish of Washington, D.C.
One brother, Ned Fish; and two sisters, Ava Frazer and Elizabeth Knoblock, died earlier.
