Colfax – Graveside services for Lawrence D. Solasberry, 67, a longtime resident of Colfax, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, at McKeever Cemetery, north of Colfax.
The Rev. Jill Flyr, pastor of the Colfax United Methodist Church, will conduct services.
Friends may call after 8 a.m. Thursday at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.
Mr. Solasberry died Saturday at St. Mary’s Hospital in Streator, Ill.
Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Tim Haygood of Streator, Ill.; two grandchildren; and a brother, Richard of Colfax.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The son of David and Ruth Vander Mart Solasberry, he was born May 10, 1928 in Missouri.
A self-employed welder, Mr. Solasberry was an army veteran of World War II.
