Des Moines – Ruth Rinaldo, 90, of Des Moines, formerly of Colfax, died Monday, March 12, at Wesley Acres in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax with the Rev. Diana Siekel officiating. Burial will be at McKeever Cemetery in Colfax.
Friends may call Friday after 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials will be accepted in her name.
The daughter of James Leonard and Bertha Hunter Bauer, she was born Jan. 27, 1911, in Poweshiek Township. She graduated from Colfax High School and Grinnell College. On march 4, 1951, she married John Beach Rinaldo in Colfax.
Mrs. Rinaldo was a homemaker and a member of Colfax Presbyterian Church and PEO.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Beverly Bauer of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
