Colfax – Funeral services for Alexander James Olson, 4, of Colfax will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, at the Newton First Assembly of God.
The Rev. Ed Aubuchon, pastor of the church and the Rev. I. Quinby Collier, who resides in Texas, former director of Teen Challenge of the Midlands at Colfax, will conduct services.
Burial will be in McKeever Cemetery, north of Colfax.
Friends may call at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax after noon today and visitation with the family will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Following burial services, relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Teen Challenge of the Midlands.
Memorials to the Teen Challenge of the Midlands will be accepted.
He died Friday in Des Moines.
Survivors are his parents, David and Kathy Cassady Olson; two brothers, Evan and Tyler; and a twin sister, Elisa.
Also surviving are grandparents, Jim and Faye Olson of Ottumwa and C. B. and Pat Cassady of McComb, Miss., and his great-grandmothers, Edna House Green and Clara Cassady, both of Sallisaw, Okla.
The youth was involved in youth activities at the Newton First Assembly of God, where he attended Sunday school and was a member of the Rainbow youth group.
He was born Nov. 5, 1991 in Des Moines.
