Ruth M. Lester Kuhn, 76, died Tuesday morning, July 28, at Clearview Manor in Prairie City.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Reese Chapel in Newton.
The Rev. Todd Schlitter, associate pastor of the Newton First United Methodist Church, will conduct services.
Cremation will be held.
Burial will be in McKeever Cemetery, north of Colfax.
Survivors are two brothers, Burton and Tom Lester, both of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth, two brothers and a sister.
Mrs. Kuhn was a member of the Grinnell Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Farm Bureau.
She had been a partner with her husband in a construction business.
The daughter of John and Gertrude Hodge Lester, she was born March 4, 1916 in Newton and attended Newton schools.
She was married to Kenneth Kuhn in 1934.
Mrs. Kuhn resided at McCann Village in Newton until moving to Clearview Manor in Prairie City in May.
