Anna Donaldson, 96, longtime resident of Colfax, died of pneumonia Thursday at Clearview Manor in Prairie City.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, at the Colfax First Baptist Church with Pastor Phil Butler officiating. Burial will be at McKeever Cemetery in Colfax. Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax is officiating.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday, May 27, at the funeral home, with the family present from 6:30-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Colfax First Baptist Church.
The daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Rowley Williams, she was born June 19, 1905, in Oswalt. She married Phay Donaldson in December of 1925. She was a lifelong resident of Colfax and worked at the Vernon company in Newton for 26 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Gilreath of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Elizabeth Inglis of Baxter; and her sister-in-law, Helen Williams of Colfax.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; an infant son, Darwin; a sister and five brothers.
