Brainerd, Minn. – Graveside rites for Creeda J. Vernocom Carson, 88, of Brainerd, Minn., a former resident of Colfax and Jasper County, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 3, at McKeever Cemetery, north of Colfax.
Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax is in charge of local arrangements
Halvorson-Johnson funeral Home in Brainerd is in charge of Brainerd arrangements.
Mrs. Carson died Sunday in Brainerd.
Survivors are a nephew, Edwin Main of California; a great-nephew, William Wulf of Morrison, Ill.; and great-niece, Linda Cooper of Des Moines.
The daughter of Hugh and Mary Lee Vernocom, she was born Feb. 23, 1904 in Jasper County and resided in Jasper County and Colfax until 1946.
Mrs. Carson had resided in Brainerd for the past 30 years.
