Colfax – Lloyd W. Cadman, 76, of Colfax, a longtime resident of the area, died Saturday, May 16, at the Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. Clayton Sugg, pastor of the Colfax Presbyterian Church, will conduct services.
Burial will be in McKeever Cemetery north of Colfax.
Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home and family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors are a step-son, Robert Morton of Rhodes; three step-daughters, Rena Martin, Barbara Borts and Betty Owens, all of Colfax; and a number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister, Doris Cadman of Las Vegas, Nev., and three brothers, Lyle of Nevada, Verl of Athens, Ala., and Gayle of Grand Junction, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a sister and his wife, in February, 1992.
A retired Maytag Co. employee; he was a member of the UAW, Local 997, Retirees Union.
He serviced in the Army during World War II and also in the Navy.
The son of Leonard and Anna Fulton Cadman, he was born March 3, 1916 in Moville.
He was married to Opal Ayres June 29, 1946.
