Omer E. Lamb, age 59, died Thursday, April 6, 1995 at the Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born at Madrid, Iowa, October 27, 1935, the son of Milo and Anna Mae Olson Lamb. He has made his home in Mingo the past twenty five years. For seven years he was owned and operated Lamb Landscaping and Construction Co. in Mingo. Mr. Lamb served in the United States Air Force for three years and also was a member of the National Guard for some time. On June 2, 1959 he was united in marriage to Rose Mary Maddison at Des Moines.
Surviving is his wife Rose Mary, a son Lonnie of Mingo, a daughter and son-in-law, Rose Anna and Kevin Snodgrass of Collins, and three grandchildren, Andrea, Shanna, and Jamie Snodgrass of Collins. Also surviving are his parents, Milo and Anna Mae Lamb of Colfax, a brother Larry of Colfax. He was preceded in death by a brother Billy and a sister Betty. Mr. Lamb was a member of the N.R.A., North American Hunters Club and the Colfax Gun Club.
